Pioneer Strategies wins MarCom Award for After the Republic web video ad

 Pioneer Strategies, a public relations and marketing communication firm based in Leland, recently won a Gold MarCom Award in the Digital Media – Web Video - Marketing category for a 30-second web video ad promoting After the Republic, a thriller novel. Pioneer Strategies’ account executive, Zach Drennan, produced the video.

Pioneer Strategies’ President, Frank Williams, authored After the Republic and its sequel, Convergence. The books tell the story of Joshua Winston, a reluctant leader who must lead a group of Americans determined to survive after the American republic comes crashing down overnight.

“When I re-read my two books last year, I was floored by the number of specific events from the stories that were happening in real life in 2020, albeit for different reasons,” said Williams. “This ad connected what people were seeing on the news to what they could read in the pages of After the Republic and Convergence, and Zach did an excellent job of bringing those images to life.”
